Ashley is the Director of Philanthropic Partnerships at Invest in Girls (IIG). Ashley joins IIG with nine years of fundraising experience and extensive managerial experience in the non-profit sector and a record of success in implementing innovative ideas to push program development forward. Her background includes grant writing, event planning, and collaborating with community partners to strategically accomplish fundraising goals and initiatives.
She moved to Massachusetts in 2013 from San Antonio to pursue a master’s degree in Women, Gender, Sexuality, and Religion at Harvard University. Providing opportunities and resources to young girls, remains her biggest passion in life. She strongly believes that as we continue to foster strong mentor relationships, young girls will feel empowered to envision a brighter future for themselves, and continue breaking through glass ceilings. She’s committed to empowering the next generation of women by providing life skills and opportunities.
In addition to educating and empowering young women, Ashley is an avid animal lover; volunteering her time with the MSPCA and spending her free time with her partner, Joe, and three dogs: Stella, Panda, and Titus.
