Anu Jain is an entrepreneur and philanthropist driven to make a positive impact in the world. She is passionate about empowering girls and women and health and wellness.
Anu is the Vice President of Community Relations at Viome, a company focused on disrupting healthcare by providing personalized nutrition with recommendations based on your unique gut microbiome. She is the Founder of the Anu and Naveen Jain Women Safety XPrize and CEO of the Anu and Naveen Jain Family Foundation. She is also the Co-Founder of InfoSpace.
Anu launched a $1 million XPrize competition to incentivize innovators to design a technology-based solution that sets a new safety standard for women and awarded the winner at the United Nations in June 2018.
Anu sits on several boards including the University of California San Diego Health and is on their Science, Technology and Global initiatives committee. She is also on the advisory board for Girl Up of the United Nations Foundation, a global movement of empowered young women leaders who defend gender equality. Anu is a director of the board of the X-Prize Foundation focused on using exponential technologies to solve global problems. Anu is also a member of Women Moving Millions, a non profit organization with a big and bold mission to mobilize unprecedented resources for the advancement of girls and women. She is also on the Board of Bellevue Lifespring, an organization focused on fostering stability and self sufficienty for children in Bellevue and on the board of PACE, an arts organization working to launch a cultural hub for artistic, educational and entertainment experiences.
Anu holds a BA in business administration and economics from SUNY, Stony Brook, NY, and an MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She lives with her husband in Medina WA and has three adult children all who are entrepreneurs making a positive impact. Anu enjoys yoga, meditation and nature.
